Nearly at the end of a very long, busy, and stressful week... just one more day (which will be a semi-short work day, as I have yet another doctor's appointment in the morning so won't get to campus till probably about 10 am).

I was offline for about 26 hours - and over a Friday night and Saturday for chrissakes - and I had to skip=90 on the LJ flist. Sheesh. Could not possibly comment on everything I would like to, but {{hugs}} to those who need it for various woes.

He had a tire blow out on the way home tonight. Tried to call me, but of course I had my phone off because of attending talk/reception/dinner. Once I left the restaurant though I did check my phone and called baqck. He feared for a while that he'd have to be towed all the way home, but he does have the doughnut spare in the trunk so the tow guy ( Read more... )

So, the new router appears to be having a glitch; SO was unable to connect this morning, I got home and couldn't connect from my laptop either. There's a light on the router that looks like it's indicating that the wireless functionality is not enabled, but I cannot for the life of me figure out why. Will have to call their support later/tomorrow. ( Read more... )

Our auto insurance company, that is. Just got the bill for renewal and it has gone up $520 since last year, which makes it nearly half again as much as last year's bill. We had no claims whatsoever in the past 12 months, and not even a speeding ticket between us ( Read more... )

So far this week one of the windows on SO's car broke and now the kitchen drain is again stopped up, which I found out when the dishwasher started overflowing onto the floor.
